Kia has announced pricing for the redesigned 2023 Sportage.
It starts at $27,205 and ranges up to $38,005 for a loaded X-Pro Prestige model.
Prices for the hybrid start at $28,505 and a plug-in-hybrid model will launch later.
UPDATE 4/8/22: We have added a price for the combined model.

Like most new models today, the redesigned 2023 Kia Sportage receives a significant base price increase over its predecessor. The LX version starts at $27,205, up $1900 from the upcoming 2022 model. However, the average EX level is $29,205, which is actually $400 cheaper than last year. A hybrid model is new and starts at $28,505.

The other trim levels of the new Sportage don’t match the previous lineup, as Kia has introduced the new X-Line model with an off-road appearance package that starts at $32,005 and comes with standard all-wheel drive. The previous version of the Sportage’s SX Turbo with an optional 237 hp engine has also disappeared, as all current Sportage models come with a 2.5-liter 187-horsepower 187-horsepower straight-line 4-cylinder engine, with the front-wheel drive SX starting at $32,705. All-wheel drive is a $1800 option on the LX, EX and SX.

The Sportage X-Pro is also a new model with tires for all terrains and tweaks to the X-Line’s appearance. It starts at $36,205 and offers a Prestige package with additional equipment for $1800. Four-wheel drive is also standard here, as you’d expect for an off-road model.

The new hybrid Sportage starts at $28,505 for the LX, which is $1,300 higher than the nonhybrid. All-wheel drive is optional at $1,800 on the LX hybrid but is standard on the EX hybrid, starting at $32,205 and the SX Prestige hybrid, starting at $37,405. A plug-in-hybrid model is also set to follow suit, but we don’t yet have a price for that.

Kia says the 2023 Sportage models are starting to be available at U.S. dealerships now, and hybrid variants will launch later this year.
